Founded in 2003, Converged Access has been successfully serving the telecom needs of area businesses by providing design, installation, service, and maintenance of phone and voice mail systems. On the heels of an announcement made in May that they were constructing an Albany Data Center, today?s announcement further strengthens Stored Tech?s aggressive growth initiative and local market positioning.
Converged Access becomes a strategic addition to Stored Tech?s comprehensive suite of IT and managed services solutions allowing them to create a powerful, full-service technology offering. With this collaboration, Stored Tech will now provide phone system sales and service including voice over IP (voIP) and voicemail services as well as structured cabling to include CAT5 & CAT6, fiber and coaxial installation. In addition, Stored Tech will provide customers with customized carrier solutions through their partnerships with providers such as Verizon, Time Warner, TW Telecom, Quest, Paetec and ONE Communications. The company says that they will also add a physical location by taking over the former offices of Converged Access at 40 Dix Avenue in Glens Falls while simultaneously maintaining their original office location at 12 Keenan Street.
